Ingredients:

  • Banana - 1, medium
  • Yogurt - 2 cups, whipped and slightly diluted with water
  • Honey - 2 tsp, optional
Procedure:
  • Peel and chunk the kiwi fruit. Slice the banana.Add to a juicer jar.
  • Pour the whipped yogurt and puree the ingredients.
  • Divide and pour the pureed smoothie into tall glasses.
  • Top with a tsp of honey before serving.
Makes 2 servings.

Enjoy!

  1. Dear lassie
You are a real foodie or cook, whatever...even sitting at Chennai you are using Kiwi!!!
That reminds me of my 1st encounter with Kiwi 10 years back in Kuala Lumpur. The cost was prohibitive by Indian standard..I bought one and was wondering how to eat it with the hair on. couldn't throw it as it was too expensive..so I ate it with the skin on,...ha ha
Yesterday my daughter, who came back from a Himalayan sojourn, brought a box of Kiwi. It is produced in India..but too sour...
Can I use the sour Kiwi...or you want me to blend with beat root ha ha .
I am going to make this today...my wife is fond of sour things ( me too)
In any case I have the option of inverting the honey bottle into the mixer..
Have a nice week with your near and dear ones.

  3. Thanks girls for your lovely comments.

Ushnish: I hate to disappoint you. I merely posted what I had drafted prior to my arrival to India. I don't recommend Sour Kiwi. You should let it ripen prior to consuming it.
