Icecream Lollipops

What goes  incredibly well with Ice cream? A lot! I prefer mine nut-sprinkled and chocolate-topped. My toddler son prefers all of that on a stick. He was too happy to assist me in smearing chocolate syrup on the lollipops..So here is a dessert sure to please any kid and anyone who wants to feel like a kid. Yeah, give it a try.
Ingredients:
  • Ice cream  - 4 scoops Vanilla, any brand.
  • Chocolate Syrup - For smearing
  • Almonds/Pecans/Walnuts - coarsely broken
  • Assorted Sprinkles(optional)
  • Bamboo Skewers - 4 #s
Tool:
  • Plate lined with waxed paper
    Procedure:
    • Scoop the ice cream and line it on a waxed paper lined plate.
    • Insert the bamboo skewers into the scoops and put it in the freezer for a good 15-20mins until ice cream hardens around it.
    • Have an assembly line of the nuts, sprinkles(if using).
    • Remove the lollipops and squirt some chocolate syrup on each one and immediately sprinkling with choice of nuts or assorted sprinkles.
    • Re-freeze for 25-30minutes on a waxed paper prior to serving.
    Makes 4 servings.

    Enjoy!
